The highly anticipated Championship Week has arrived, bringing with it the 26th edition of the United States Disc Golf Championship (USDGC). This prestigious event promises top-notch competition, extensive media coverage, and an unparalleled live spectator experience. From October 10th-13th, the world’s best players will converge at the iconic Winthrop Arena in Rock Hill, South Carolina. While there are various ways to follow the Championship, nothing compares to the energy and excitement of being there in person.
The USDGC is not the only event taking place during this week-long celebration of disc golf. The Throw Pink Women’s Disc Golf Championship will also be held alongside the USDGC, making it a must-see for fans of the sport. Spectator passes provide access to the lively Championship Village, where attendees can browse through a variety of vendors, snag limited-edition merchandise, participate in giveaways, attend clinics, and meet top players. The spectator courses are also a must-see, offering a unique perspective on the competition.
In addition to the thrilling disc golf action, the Championship Village will also feature live music every night as part of the Fresh and Now Concert Series. This popular addition from last year’s event will keep the party going well into the night.
Friday, October 11th is Women’s Appreciation Day, with free admission for women and girls of all ages. This special day will also include opportunities to meet and get autographs from favorite female players. In the evening, indie/jam artist Karina Rykman will take the stage for a rocking performance.
For those unable to attend in person, the Disc Golf Network (DGN) will be broadcasting every round live. Pro subscribers can tune in to coverage of both the TPWDGC and USDGC each day, while the first rounds will be available on the DGPT YouTube channel. DGN Basic and Standard subscribers can watch the first round with their current subscription, but will need to upgrade to Pro to watch the remaining rounds.
For those looking to attend last-minute, there are still a limited number of Gold Passes available. This exclusive pass offers a premium disc golf viewing experience, including access to all four days of the USDGC and Throw Pink Championship, the Fresh & Now Evening Concert Series, a dedicated hospitality area with complimentary non-alcoholic drinks, meal vouchers, premium parking, and a commemorative laminate credential. Gold Pass holders also receive free access to the USDGC Player’s Party and the Throw Pink Awards Ceremony.
