Top Innova Storylines from the 2024 MVP Open

​ ​The 2024 Disc Golf Pro Tour season has officially come to a close with the conclusion of the MVP Open. Team Innova showcased their skills, earning five top 10 finishes in the FPO division and delivering standout performances in both divisions. As the focus now shifts to the upcoming USDGC and TPWDGC, let’s take a moment to celebrate Team Innova’s top moments from the 2024 MVP Open. Ohn Scoggins, a seasoned pro, secured her 8th podium finish of the year with a 3rd place finish at the MVP Open. She dominated the field in Strokes Gained Putting, Average Putt Length, and Total Putt Length. Innova is proud of the depth of their FPO team, with 5 athletes placing in the top 10 at the MVP Open. Along with Scoggins, Kat Mertsch took 7th place, while Henna Blomroos, Hailey King, and Eveliina Salonen all tied for 9th. Blomroos impressed with her powerful drives, leading the field in Parked percentage, C1 Hits in Regulation, and Scramble rate at Maple Hill. Holly Finley showcased her finesse in the circle, maintaining her title as the best C1x putter in the FPO division this season. At the MVP Open, she once again led the field in C1 Putting, making an impressive 57 out of 62 putts. Rising star Calvin Lonnquist just missed out on a top 10 finish, taking 12th place at the MVP Open. With an 11th place finish at the Dynamic Discs Open earlier this season, Lonnquist is sure to secure top 10 finishes in the future. Kevin Jones also had a strong showing, leading the field in C1 Hits in Regulation and finishing in a tie for 16th place. As the season comes to a close, all eyes are now on the upcoming United States Disc Golf Championship and Throw Pink Women’s Disc Golf Championship.
