The 2024 LWS Open proved to be a major success for Team Innova, with Ohn Scoggins dominating the FPO division and four other Innova athletes securing top 10 finishes in the MPO division. As we approach the highly anticipated 2024 PDGA Pro World Championships, the team is on fire and ready to take on the competition. Ohn Scoggins, a seasoned veteran of the game, claimed her second Elite win of the year at the LWS Open, adding to her impressive list of accomplishments. Despite her long-standing reputation in the sport, Ohn continues to improve with each tournament, making this her best season yet. In fact, she has not finished outside of the top 10 on tour this year. Ohn’s stellar performance at the LWS Open was largely due to her exceptional throwing and C2 putting skills, which earned her the top spot in Strokes Gained Tee to Green, Birdie rate, and C1 & C2 Hits in Regulation. She also had the second highest Scramble rate and C2 Putting, and took the fewest OB strokes in the field. With a three-stroke lead after the second round, Ohn maintained her lead and ultimately won by four strokes. With six Major titles in the Masters division and three Elite wins against the best FPO players in the world, Ohn is a strong contender for the upcoming PDGA Pro Worlds. Another player to watch out for is Calvin Heimburg, who has been on a hot streak with back-to-back podium finishes on the DGPT. He tied for 2nd place at the LWS Open and led the field in Strokes Gained Tee to Green, C2 Hits in regulation, and Scramble rate. He also had the fewest over par strokes and only took one OB stroke throughout the entire tournament. Although he has yet to win a Major title, Calvin is widely considered to be the best player on tour and has a great chance of taking home the win at the 2024 PDGA Pro Worlds. And let’s not forget about Emerson Keith, the newest addition to Team Innova. With his impressive skills and determination, he could be the dark horse to watch out for at the upcoming World Championships. With a new course and a new champion waiting to be crowned, the 2024 PDGA Pro Worlds co-sponsored by Innova is sure to be an electrifying event.
