Henna’s Podium Streak Continues at the 2024 Swedish Open

​ ​Henna Blomroos is on a winning streak! She has consistently placed on the podium at the last four DGPT and PDGA Major events she has competed in, including a 2nd place finish at the 2024 Swedish Open last weekend. In the MPO division, Dennis Augustsson dominated on the putting green, securing a 5th place finish in Sweden. This is his best performance at a DGPT Elite event to date. Her 2nd place finish at the 2024 Swedish Open marks her fourth consecutive podium finish at DGPT or PDGA Major events. She is on the verge of a victory just weeks before the PDGA Major, the European Open. Henna led the field in Fairway Hits, C1 and C2 Hits in Regulation, and Strokes Gained Tee to Green, with an impressive 23.6 strokes gained. Her -7 score in the 2nd round was the best of the weekend, beating the next closest player by two strokes. As always, her driving skills are unmatched. Once she finds her rhythm on the putting green, Henna will surely be back in the winner’s circle. Eveliina Salonen Takes the Top Spot Eveliina Salonen has surpassed her teammate Ohn Scoggins to claim the number one spot in the 2024 DGPT World Standings. She tied for 5th place in Sweden, marking her eighth top 5 finish of the season. Eveliina ranked 2nd in the field for C2 Hits in Regulation, Scramble rate, and Strokes Gained Tee to Green. She has already secured one Major victory this year and is a top contender for another at the upcoming European Open. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Eveliina Salonen (@eveliinasalonen) Augustsson’s Putter Heats Up Dennis Augustsson had a breakthrough performance at the DGPT Elite event last weekend, jumping 45 places to tie for 5th place. He led the field in several key putting statistics, including Strokes Gained C1x, Strokes Gained Putting, longest average putt length, and total putting distance. He made 33 out of 34 putts from inside the circle. In the second round, Dennis shot an impressive 1069-rated -10, tying for the best round of the event. He went 5 for 8 from C2 and a perfect 11 for 11 inside the circle. This performance proves that Dennis has a high potential and if he can maintain this level of play for three rounds, he will surely secure a win on the Tour.
