Made with Active Premium plastic, which is a slightly firmer version of Discmania’s C-Line plastic and comparable to Innova’s Champion plastic, this disc is a must-try for any disc golfer. In my opinion, Active Premium is an underrated plastic that deserves more recognition in the market. The Astronaut is a high-speed driver with a super flippy flight path, making it perfect for hyzer flips and rollers (my personal favorite use for it). It’s also a great option for novice players with developed arm speed, as it serves as a great introduction to faster drivers. However, intermediate players should take note that if thrown without enough hyzer, this driver can easily turn and burn. Don’t be afraid to give the Discmania Astronaut a try!
