The Nordic Phenom Joins Discmania Sky Team!

​ ​Discmania is thrilled to announce the addition of Niklas Anttila to our esteemed Sky Team! This marks a significant milestone for Finnish disc golf, as Niklas’ four-year contract is the most substantial in the country’s history. But our partnership with Niklas goes beyond the course – as a member of our Sky Team, he will receive his very own Creator Series mold, making him the first Finnish player to have a disc created in their name.

Niklas has been a dominant force in the international disc golf scene for the past three years, with an impressive list of accomplishments including the European Champion Title, multiple Finnish National Champion titles, European Tour and National Tour victories, and podium finishes at Major events. We are excited to provide him with a disc specifically designed to elevate his game even further.

In addition to his on-course success, Niklas is also making a mark off the course by launching the Nordic Phenom Academy. This initiative will provide disc golf equipment to one thousand junior players over the course of his contract, giving them the tools they need to become future phenoms. Aspiring players will also have the opportunity to meet Niklas in person at the first Nordic Phenom Academy meet and greet, taking place at the 2024 European Open.

But that’s not all – Discmania is proud to announce that we will be hosting the 2025 Disc Golf World Championships in Tampere and Nokia, Finland. And who better to be the face of this prestigious event than our very own Niklas Anttila? Throughout his career, Niklas has shown himself to be a hardworking, passionate, and positive player, even in the most high-pressure situations. These are qualities that we are proud to showcase to both seasoned disc golfers and newcomers to the sport. Keep an eye out for Niklas’ presence in Tampere and on screens around the world!

To celebrate Niklas’ promotion to the Sky Team, we will be releasing a commemorative disc in his honor, in addition to an all-new Niklas Anttila Creator Series later this year.
