Alden Harris Joins Team Discmania!

In light of this news, we would like to take a closer look at Alden’s disc golf journey and what sets him apart as one of the sport’s most promising rising stars. A New Driver Alden’s introduction to disc golf came during a family camping trip. The campground they visited had a disc golf course and also offered disc rentals for a fun and relaxing outdoor activity. Little did they know, this would be the start of a much bigger journey filled with new friends, road trips, hard work, and self-discovery. Years later, when Alden turned 16 and got his driver’s license, he found a new love for exploring new destinations. He would often seek out parks with disc golf courses, and his passion for driving his car quickly turned into a passion for driving discs down the fairway. Pushing Limits Alden’s philosophy has always been to give his absolute best in everything he does. Once he realized that his performance on the course was solely up to him, he dedicated himself to becoming the best disc golfer he could be. He would spend hours perfecting his form, sometimes until his arm was too sore to throw. When asked about his goals, Alden never mentions specific wins or achievements. Instead, he strives to push his limits, give his all in the moment, and see how far he can take his game. “Whatever I set my mind to, I will do whatever it takes to improve,” he says. This mindset, along with his determination and presence of mind, quickly propelled Alden to elite level competition and recognition in the disc golf community. The Journey to New Horizons In addition to his core values, Alden brings a wealth of competitive and creative talent to the table. Some of his career highlights include winning the 2022 Mid America Open, the 2018 United States Junior Disc Golf Championship, the 2020 Music City Open, and the 2022 Challenge at Goat Hill. Along with his tournament wins, Alden’s YouTube channel has amassed over 16 million views in 2023. We are thrilled to have Alden join Team Discmania and share his unique personality and content with our fans while supporting his independent creative vision.
