Team Innova’s driving force is a dedicated and hard-working group of athletes who go above and beyond to showcase the capabilities of our top-quality discs. Not only do they consistently capture titles, but they also play a crucial role in evolving our disc lineup, promoting new molds, and upholding our slogan “Choice of Champions.” Through their international travels, event videos, and social media presence, they help grow the sport and generate excitement in new areas. Their impact extends beyond the professional side of the sport, as seen in Jen Allen’s viral Instagram post reaching millions of people and introducing them to disc golf for the first time. Looking ahead to 2024, Team Innova will continue to thrive with a strong core of top athletes, as well as new additions and promotions. Long-time Innova athletes Jessica Weese and Bradley Williams have earned promotions to the Star Team, while familiar face Emerson Keith will join the Team on the Champion level. Former International Team members Dennis Augustsson and Rasmus Saukkoriipi have also been promoted to the Champion level, and new members Ida Emilie Nesse and Anneli Tõugjas-Männiste will join the International Crew. Violet Main has been promoted to the Innova Crew, and Sofia Donnecke will join as a new Team member. Severi Saviniemi will join the International Team, while Jaiden Ginthum, Carver Whitford, and Sylus Williams have graduated from the Junior Team to become sponsored athletes. Elmer Furustig will join the Juniors, and there are also many new additions to the Innova Ambassadors. With an impressive track record of over 40 podium finishes at DGPT and PDGA Major events, including 10 Open Division wins and Calvin Heimburg’s Player of the Year title, Team Innova had a highly successful 2023. With the same strong core members and new additions, Team Innova 2024 is a formidable force to be reckoned with.
